When working with leaders to help them become better connected, there are four principal domains in which we work. Each one of these is – quite naturally – connected to the others.
Four domains that may, at first glance, appear to be independent, but in fact influence one another profoundly. Push here and something happens over there. They are the component parts of a unified whole.
We live in the age of disruption, where apparently left-field, unexpected solutions to problems we thought we had licked can creep up on big, established market leaders, to become noisy, irritating challengers.
To the outmanoeuvred, to the sluggish establishment, the struggle is knowing how to be different and how to change. It’s as if the innovators rewrote the rules of their sector and didn’t tell anyone. It’s like their upstart competitors really did uncover the secrets of alchemy or worked out how to speed up evolution.
Scala Advance is a coaching and consultancy firm focused on the practice of leadership and team performance in the workplace. We create distinctive development programmes that transform businesses. We bring with us experience, empathy and imagination
Brilliant leaders achieve outstanding results. They build strong teams and meaningful connections. They deliver consistently, with passion and purpose. We believe that people can learn to become brilliant leaders. When we work with our clients, we enable that learning.
We get to the heart of your business. We do this by building strong relationships and asking tough questions. We find out out what is happening and why. Then we work alongside you to create a strategy for change.
Knowledge and innovation drive us. We have over 20 years’ experience of leading change. We are experts in business and in people, with a deep understanding of organisational culture and behavioural drivers. We are constantly learning.
We were founded in 2005 by leadership development professional, Susan Carroll.
She chose a name designed to define our purpose. Scala is the Italian word for ladder or stairway: the means to get to another place. Advance implies action taken and progress achieved.
Our clients come from across the corporate world, technology, design and the public and third sectors. Many are long-established large organisations, among the top 10 in their industries. Many others are growing and successful SMEs and ambitious start-ups. What they have in common is their readiness to innovate, change and grow.
We have expertise in leadership development, leading change, creative business strategy, human behaviour and transformational coaching. We share the ability to lead, influence and inspire.
